April 1997 The "Walk of Fame" on the southwest corner of Central was dedicated. Jay
O'Meilia (45), artist/sculptor made bronze relief plaques for this project illustrating
Central's history.
The CHS "Walk of Fame" is to honor graduates with bronze plaques displaying their class numerals and the legacy of their decade at Central High School. It is the hope and dream of Central High School Alumni that this "Walk of Fame" will motivate present and future classes to identify with the long line of graduates who are encouraging them toward meaningful lives.
